Storytelling is the heart of community. It’s an expression of where we’ve come from, who we are, and who we aspire to be. Together in partnership with our community the Collective Magazines have been telling stories to connect readers with the essence of who we are. We link long time residents with new arrivals; and visitors with residents, to share the complex layers of place that make our community so dynamic, complex and beautiful.
Until now, the Collective Magazines has relied solely on community advertising partners to sustain our project, but we are evolving our model and inviting the broader community to support our work. We have initiated our NEW subscription program, with a twist! Not only will you guarantee your copy of the Comox Valley Collective (CVC) and/or the Strathcona Collective (SC), you will help create the story that is Vancouver Island.
