At Collective Magazines, we believe storytelling is the heart of a community. That’s why for over 10 years we’ve been seeking, supporting and showcasing the eclectic individuality and natural splendor of our Northern Vancouver Island communities, one beautifully designed issue at a time. Our vision has always been to bridge the voices and creativity within our community throughout our community, collaborating with local artists, writers, illustrators and photographers alike. One of our top priorities is to advocate the authenticity of storytelling and to celebrate the diversity in lifestyle, recreation, art, culture and sport our region has to offer.
As our mission grows, so do our aspirations. Our team at Collective Magazines have worked hard to ensure both the quality and quantity of our magazines are equally as accessible as they are beautiful. Since inception, our magazine has relied solely on the funding local advertisers are able to contribute towards our local-minded publication to fund collaborators, staff and the cost of production. If you enjoy our magazine and are looking for an easy, impactful way to invest in our community, consider our Subscriber membership programs. 50% of every subscription is directly invested into our “Collective Fund”, supporting grassroot projects and events in our community, and helps us keep this publication free to the greater Comox Valley and Strathcona populations. By Subscribing, you are investing towards our mission to create, play and explore within and alongside our community. Every subscriber is duly recognized on our website, with their name listed under our supporters and receives personal invitations to join us in celebration for the launch of every new issue.
